This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how the operator of homoonculus ("the operator," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal data in connection with the websites operated at homoonculus.com and its subdomains (collectively, the "Site").

The operator does not collect personal data on its servers. This Policy applies to all users of the Site. Where certain jurisdictions provide additional rights, the relevant provisions are noted below.

The Site uses cookieless, aggregate traffic measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics), which does not identify individual visitors.

Information you provide to us. The Site has no accounts, forms, or payment features, and therefore the operator does not collect information you provide directly.
Information collected automatically. The Site sets no cookies of its own; traffic measurement is limited to the cookieless, aggregate statistics described above.
Local storage on your device. Game progress, settings, and display preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to, or accessed or stored by, the operator.
Connection data processed by our infrastructure provider. The Site is delivered through an external cloud and content delivery network (CDN). The infrastructure provider may process connection data, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver, secure, and maintain the Site. This processing may take place in countries outside your country of residence.

2. How We Use Information

Because the operator does not collect personal data on its servers, the operator does not use personal data for its own purposes. The limited data described above is handled only as follows:

Connection data is processed by the infrastructure provider to deliver, secure, and maintain the Site.
Local storage data is used by your browser to remember your game progress, settings, and display preferences on your device.

3. Cookies and Advertising

The Site sets no cookies of its own. Advertising is not currently served on the Site.

When advertising is served, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this and/or other sites.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland may be asked for consent before personalized ads are served.

The operator does not sell, rent, or share personal data. Data may be involved only in the following limited ways:

Service providers. The Site is delivered by an infrastructure provider (external cloud and CDN) that processes connection data on our behalf to perform delivery and security functions for the Site.
Advertising vendors. When advertising is served, third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may process data through advertising cookies as described in the Cookies and Advertising section.
Legal obligations. We may disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or lawful requests from public or governmental authorities.

5. Data Retention

The operator does not store personal data on its servers, and therefore has no operator-held personal data to retain. Data stored in your browser's local storage remains on your device until you clear it through your browser. Connection data processed by the infrastructure provider is retained by that provider in accordance with its own practices.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions under local law, you may have rights such as:

To request information about the processing of your personal data;
To request access to, or a copy of, personal data held about you;
To update or correct your personal data;
To request deletion of your personal data;
To opt out of targeted advertising; and
To withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Because the operator does not hold personal data about you, there is generally no operator-held data to access, correct, or delete. 7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where advertising is served, the operator does not direct personalized advertising to, and does not knowingly collect personal data from, users under the age of 14.

8. International Data Transfers

The Site is delivered through external cloud and CDN infrastructure. Connection data processed by the infrastructure provider to deliver and secure the Site may be processed in countries outside your country of residence.

9. How We Protect Information

The Site is delivered through external cloud and CDN infrastructure. Because the operator does not collect or store personal data on its servers, the technical and organizational measures for the Site's delivery and security are administered by the infrastructure provider.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated version here. In particular, we will update this Policy when new features (such as advertising or analytics) are added.
